The Society is a member of the Bellevue Area Chamber of Commerce and as such we are entitled to a month-long display in the office window which faces Main Street in downtown Bellevue. Please see the photo of the window for the month of July 2011. A local artist free-hand painted the information and logo for us. Apparently the window IS noticed as the Chamber office got a phone call wondering where they moved to and when the Railroad Museum was moving in!! How about that for publicity? Please see the synopsis of the Board meeting minutes. Attendance was up over 2010 but below 2009. It does pay to advertise and any good, free publicity is welcome. If you can think of ways to promote the museum, please see one of the Board Members.
