Faces - of Museums

Happy New Year To Everyone! Since this is the middle of winter there is very little going on around the museum so this newsletter is going to be short and sweet. It is once again time to nominate people for election to Board Of Directors for The Museum. Please nominate, and please vote - it is so important that we have a strong core of leaders to get involved in running the museum now and for the future.

Equally important is getting younger people involved. If you just become a trustee this year, it will take several years to be ready to become an officer. Last year we didn't have enough people nominated or to run, to elect a President VP Chris Beamer assumed the Presidential duties. If you are a younger son or daughter of one of the founders, or just a younger member - nominate yourself for trustee and get started in the future of the museum. We have lost several older officers in the last few years. The museum's survival depends on getting younger officers "trained" (no pun intended) for running the museum of the future.

Nominating Information:

Please Note: If nominating someone (or yourself) as a write-in for an office, President, Vice President, Secretary, or Treasurer, they must have been a paid up member for 2 years;

For Trustee they must have been a paid up member for 1 year. Also, you MUST have their permission to nominate them. Please include the Nominated persons phone number.

Please mail nominee's name and phone number to arrive by 13 Feb 2010 to the Nominating Committee at: Nominating Committee. Mike Todd 419-483-9401; Tom Lowery 419-483-6629; Dale Owens 419-483-4872.

Ballots will be mailed to all paid up members in the next newsletter. If you cannot attend the annual meeting and election on 20 March 2010. at 6:00 pm, you can mail your ballot to arrive by 19 March 2010.

BOD of meetings are typically about two hours long, once a month (On the second Wednesday of starting at 7PM). There are several Trustee positions expiring this year.
