Board Of Directors Meeting Notes - April Mtg.

Old Business/Continuing Business
Milke Painting - Was at the meeting to discuss his painting of the 105. He had been scraping and taping and paint continues to come off. Paint isn't holding, comes off with tape. To get good paint job, needs to be blasted off. It was moved and approved to have Milke paint one of the restrooms blue and not spend any more effort on the falling paint

Chris Beamer - Thanked the few people who attended the potluck. Thank you to Saturday workers.

New Business

Earl Daniel - Advertiser Tribune-steam engine tours article.

Dale Owens - Anthology at the Gazette. Friend of Ruth's is a professional proofreader and will proofread.

Dean Meese - Tester will be back Apr. 26-27.


Mom wants to know about mulching the flowerbeds. ACE has a deal on mulch so he'll get some. Baggage car door was broken by kids.

Bud Kryling - Rollie Hurst has slides and Bud has tapes, movies and projector., looking through them.

Patti Gray - Ruth asked Patti to ask Chris to be sure to get Dinner in the Diner on the website. Also need the ceiling of the diner painted the first week in May.

ARM - history detective looking for historic stories. John Fryar thinks events in newsletter should also be on website.

Chris Beamer - National Train Day Group in Toledo, May 1, 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Amtrak station.

Chris Beamer procured and installed new signs for the front of the Welcome Center, and by the entrance to the Welcome Center. They are vinyl and should last a good long time.
