Orville Historical Society - Comes for a visit. May 8th - Starting the season off on a positive note the Orville Railroad Heritage Society made the Mad River & NKP its primary stop on it's first excursion of the year. From Orville Ohio the group traveled by train to Monroeville, Ohio, and then took a bus to the museum. The day was cold and rainy but the hundred plus hardy "Rail Fans" braved the weather to tour the museum. Many people were repeat visitors, but others had not been here before. We ran a few movies in the Welcome Center while people warmed up a bit. All in all there were 150 or so people who came. |
